Q: Why are you called Little Robin?
A: The name and the theme of our bed and breakfast is a tribute to our late grandmother, who was of Irish heritage with some Scottish ancestry. She adored nature and Great British garden birds, in particular the little Robin. She was also an amazing cook and baker and taught us many great recipes passed down through the generations. We hope you enjoy them too.
Q: Do you have parking?
A: Yes, there is free on street parking outside the property and nearby too.
Q: Are visitors allowed?
A: No, unregistered visitors are NOT allowed on the premises due to security and insurance reasons. If one person books a double room, they are also NOT allowed to bring in an unregistered guest to their room. Any unregistered guests found to be on the premises will be asked to leave.
Q: Do you accept pets?
A: We love animals, but unfortunately we do not have the facilities to accept pets of any kind. We do allow Guide Dogs, but request that you let us know before you arrive.
Q: Do you accommodate children?
A: We are an adult only bed and breakfast, therefore, we currently only accommodate guests aged 18 years and over.
Q: Can you accommodate special dietary requirements or food allergies?
A: Please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. We are unable to provide or guarantee a nut-free or gluten free environment in our kitchen. Contact us to discuss your needs further.
Q: What time is check-in and check-out?
A: Check-in is between 4:00pm and 7:00pm. Late check-in can be arranged up to 10:00pm with a £20 fee (Subject to availability). Arrivals after 10:00pm are not possible. Guests must have checked out before 10:30am as we need the time to get the rooms ready for future guests.
Q: Do you do laundry?
A: We do not offer a laundry service. However, we are very happy to offer drying facilities for guests with muddy and wet boots/outdoor clothing.
Q: What is your policy on smoking?
A: Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere inside the property. This includes e-cigarettes and all other smoking methods. We ask that guests smoke outside the front of our property with the door closed behind them and use the ashtray provided. A fee of £100 will be charged if you smoke in your bedroom or the public rooms.
Candles and incense sticks are NOT permitted to be lit in any part of the property.
Q: Can we take food up to our room?
A: Food can be taken up to your room and stored in your mini fridge, however, take-away foods are not allowed in the rooms and a charge may be applied if there are stains or strong food odours left in the room.
Q: Do you do evening meals?
A: We don't currently offer evening meals, but it is something we are considering as a future project.
Q: Do you have bar facilities?
A: Sadly we do not have a bar at present, but it is something we are looking into. There are some lovely places to eat and drink in the area. There are also shops nearby and glasses in your room.
